Tim Sherwood has told the Kelly and Wrighty Show that he would pick Marcelo Bielsa to manage Tottenham Hotspur if he was in charge, with the programme broadcast on Optus Sports.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new long-term manager, following the departure of Jose Mourinho.
Spurs have Ryan Mason in temporary charge, but the rookie boss is only expected to last in the role until the end of the season.
Daniel Levy is now searching for a new manager, and Sherwood believes that Leeds United boss Bielsa should be on the Lilywhites’ radar.
“The Leeds game away is a difficult game. If I was going to pick a manager for Tottenham next season I would pick Bielsa,” Sherwood said.
“I would go for him. Everyone would love him at the football club, but I’m not sure Daniel Levy would.
“Daniel likes communication with his managers and I’m not sure they could communicate too well.”

Bielsa certainly has performed an impressive job at Leeds during his time there, but he is yet to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract.
That being said it would be a major surprise if he left Elland Road to move to Tottenham.
Bielsa has formed a strong connection with the Leeds fan base and players during his time at the club, and it is widely predicted that he could retire at Elland Road.
