Liverpool-linked Jude Bellingham has been tipped to snub a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 19-year-old midfielder continues to enhance his reputation as the world’s most exciting teenage player after scoring for Borussia Dortmund in a Champions League defeat by Manchester City this week.

According to a report from earlier in the week, Liverpool are winning the race to sign the England international who could be worth as much as £174 million [Football London].

However, there’s likely to be a lot of interest in the former Birmingham City starlet.

But Neil Jones, who exclusively covers Liverpool for Goal, does not believe that PSG are a genuine threat to the Reds and other England-based suitors, tipping him to join a Premier League outfit.

He told Redmen TV: “Does he want to play for PSG? I would expect more of Jude Bellingham than to go to PSG at 20, so you can maybe rule them out. Then you look at Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, United. I think he’s going to come to the Premier League, me personally. I think Liverpool have got a chance. Liverpool want Jude Bellingham. The educated thing is that he leaves Dortmund next summer. Almost 100%.”

Big claim

To suggest that the Ligue 1 powerhouse aren’t going to be a factor in the Bellingham race is quite substantial.

If Jones is right though, it’s a massive boost for Liverpool and other suitors because let’s face it, the clubs who can both afford Bellingham and need him is a very elite pack of perhaps half a dozen.

And if one of those is out of the equation from the jump, as Jones hints PSG would be, then it’s an enormous advantage Jurgen Klopp and other interested parties.
