Chris Sutton has said on BBC Radio 5 live that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah could destroy Rangers left-back Borna Barisic in the UEFA Champions League game between Jurgen Klopp’s side and Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

The former Celtic striker and BBC Sport pundit believes that Liverpool star Salah could have a field day against Rangers left-back Barisic tonight.

Egypt international forward Salah is set to start on the right of a front-three for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League game at Anfield tonight.

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is likely to deploy the £2 million (The Daily Mail) Croatian at left-back against the Reds.

Chris Sutton on Mohamed Salah v Borna Barisic in Liverpool v Rangers

Sutton said, as transcribed by RousingTheKop: “They’ve got issues at the back, Ben Davies, a former Liverpool player, played at the weekend alongside Connor Goldson, but I worry about Barisic. He has great delivery but Mo Salah going up against him will have a field day.”

Who will win at Anfield?

In our view, Liverpool will head into the UEFA Champions League match against Rangers at Anfield tonight as favourites.

Yes, the Reds are not having the best of times at the moment, but the Merseyside club have a much better team than Rangers do.

Salah is a world-class forward who could bang in two or three goals against Rangers if he is on it.

We do not see anything other than a win for Liverpool against Rangers tonight.
