Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Wolverhampton Wanderers will win against Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Chelsea striker and BBC Sport pundit has backed Wolves to pick up all three points from the encounter against Leeds at home today courtesy of a 1-0 win.
Former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes that Wolves will beat Leeds 2-0 in front of their own fans.
Another former Arsenal player, David Seaman, though, thinks that the game will end in a 1-1 draw.
Pundits predict Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Leeds United
Sutton said: “There were lots of goals the last time these two teams met at Molineux, at the end of last season. I don’t see it being quite as thrilling this time, but there is a lot at stake.
“It feels like I say every week with these predictions that Leeds have got some very talented players, but they don’t take their chances. I worry about them too.
“Wolves don’t score many goals either but I thought they deserved to get something from their trip to Newcastle last week, and I can see them nicking this one at home.
“Sutton’s prediction: 1-0.”

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “I just can’t see Wolves going down – they are a decent team under an experienced manager and I think they should win this game.
“If you look at Leeds – they have Wolves and Arsenal away after which they face Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace at home. Those two games will define their season – if they get two wins, they will survive, else it’s curtains for them.
“Prediction: Wolves 2-0 Leeds United.”
Seaman said on Seaman Says podcast: “I am gong to go for 1-1. That’s wishful thinking, if I am honest.”
Who will win Wolves vs Leeds?
In our view, Wolverhampton Wanderers will head into the match against Leeds United at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as favourites.
Wolves do have a better team and are in better form that the West Yorkshire club.
Leeds are dire at the moment.
Yes, there have been one or two positive signings about Leeds under head coach Javi Gracia, but they are really struggling to score enough goals.
We do not think that Leeds will win at Wolves, but if they are tight at the back, they could come away with a point.
