Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been discussing Arsenal’s game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Gunners hammered the Reds on Sunday with an emphatic 5-0 win, impressing fans and pundits alike.
However, it wasn’t just onlookers who were impressed. According to Seaman, one of Forest’s players was blown away by the Gunners at the weekend.
Indeed, Seaman says he chatted to one of Forest’s defenders after the game and he was waxing lyrical about Arsenal’s passing and the speed they played at.

Impressed
Seaman shared just how impressed one Forest player was at the weekend.
“I was chatting to one of the Forest defenders afterwards, I won’t name him, but he was saying that the slickness of Arsenal’s passing and the speed of it was frightening,” Seaman said.
Easy to believe
It’s not hard to believe that Forest’s defenders were blown away by Arsenal at the weekend.
As a newly-promoted club, Forest are still getting used to playing against these elite sides, and Arsenal certainly showed what they were all about at the weekend.
The Gunners played at full throttle for 90 minutes, and that led to an utterly dominant victory over the Tricky Trees.
As a spectator, Arsenal were mesmeric, so we can only imagine what it was like to play against a team this talented in this sort of form.
Mikel Arteta’s side are the real deal this season, and this unnamed Forest defender won’t be the only opposition player left stunned after playing against Arsenal this season.
Forest do need to get to grips with the Premier League, and they need to stop being overwhelmed by the standard of some of these teams and find a way to compete at this level.
