Some Tottenham Hotspur fans believe that Japhet Tanganga might be line for a start tomorrow.
The 21-year-old made his first senior appearance for two months in the win over Ludogorets in the Europa League in midweek.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho praised the young academy product but stated that his best position was as a right-back.
Mourinho also confirmed Matt Doherty was back in training after picking up the coronavirus on international duty but stated he wasn’t sure if he’d face Chelsea tomorrow evening, potentially opening the door for Tanganga.
Tottenham posted a photo of the defender – who can also play centre-back – in training on Twitter this evening.
And here’s how some fans of the North London responded to the post:
Mourinho’s side could move two points clear at the top of the Premier League table tomorrow.
Liverpool slipped up and only drew away to Brighton this afternoon, opening the door for the Lilywhites to establish themselves as firm title challengers.
