Harry Redknapp told talkSPORT (03/08/21 at 7:40 am) that Daniel Levy would sell Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, if the right price comes in for him following his no-show on Monday.
The Spurs hitman didn’t turn up to Tottenham training yesterday despite being scheduled to do so and it sparked quite a reaction from supporters.
There has been well-documented interest from Manchester City for the 28-year-old and this has no doubt added drama to proceedings.
Redknapp would have dealt with Levy during his days in North London, as he shared his thoughts on the Kane situation.
“Unless he has something in writing, unless he has an actual figure,” said Redknapp.
“Daniel is probably saying, ‘yes, I will sell you. I will stand you by my word if I said I will sell you. But I am not going to sell you cheap’.
“It did (surprise) me, yes, you know him as well as I do (speaking to Darren Bent). You wouldn’t have expected that.
“I would have thought that he would have just turned up and had a meeting with Daniel again. I am sure his advisors are meeting with Daniel.
“I was a bit surprised. I am sure he will come into training today. Not the best way to go about it. He is loved at Tottenham.”

Well, this will no doubt take more twists and turns and it’s going to be interesting to see what happens during these coming days.
It’s not easy negotiating with Levy on a good day and it will be interesting to see how he reacts to Kane’s actions and whether he becomes more stubborn in not allowing him to leave.
Either way, those at the Etihad will be licking their lips at all of this because, on one hand, they are trying to lure Jack Grealish towards their direction.
And, on the other, it seems as though Kane might be trying to do his best to leave Hotspur Way this summer.
