Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has told Football.London that Giovani Lo Celso could return to action next week.
Lo Celso is back in training after suffering a serious hamstring injury, and the Argentine is progressing well in his quest to achieve full fitness.
Spurs will take on Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
The North London club will then lock horns with Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 next Thursday evening.
Mourinho has said that it is unlikely that the 24-year-old midfielder will be back for the match against Palace, but he has suggested that the Argentina international could return against Zagreb.
The Portuguese told Football.London: “For Gio, I don’t think so, I don’t think so for Sunday, but, but there is maybe an opportunity, but I don’t think so. I will believe [more likely] for Europa League on Thursday.”

Boost for Tottenham Hotspur
Lo Celso is a very good player, and Mourinho has spoken on more occasions than one this season about his importance to the Tottenham team.
The Argentina international being an option for the match against Zagreb next week will be a boost to Tottenham’s chances of winning the first leg.
According to WhoScored, Lo Celso has made four starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League, and has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for Spurs so far this season.
