Tottenham Hotspur fans are very excited over reports that Southampton striker Danny Ings is on their wishlist.
Football London say that Tottenham have a ‘strong’ interest in Ings, as Jose Mourinho looks to add another forward.
And while the report admits that signing Ings could be difficult for Spurs, most supporters of the North London club believe that he could be perfect for them.
Ings would be brought to Spurs to add more cover up-front beyond Harry Kane.
Kane takes so much of the goalscoring responsibility at Spurs that signing a new striker must be key this summer.
Ings actually outscored Kane last term, as he hit 22 goals, and there simply has to be questions over how Tottenham would finance a deal.
Mourinho’s side are only believed to have a limited budget, and Southampton would surely demand a huge price if they were to sell the England international forward.
