Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has given his view on what Mohamed Salah should do in regards to his future.

In an interview with Al-Ain Sports, the UEFA Champions League coach believes that the Liverpool star should make the decision that he believes is best for him. Salah’s deal with the Reds is slowly creeping to an end, with his contract expiring in 2023.

Jurgen Klopp’s side made a flurry of contract extensions over the summer from Alisson Becker to Andy Robertson to Nat Phillips. But Salah’s future is yet to be addressed. The winger has been key to Liverpool ever since his arrival in 2017.

The attacker has yet again started the season in blistering form. And for Inzaghi, Salah should decide his future on what he believes would be the best decision for himself and his family.

The Italian manager said: “For me, Salah is one of the best players in the world. I watched him closely when I was in my early days as a coach for Lazio, and he was a player at Roma.”

Inzaghi later added: “Mohamed Salah is a great player. My advice to him is to think with his heart before taking the next step, and to choose the best for himself.”

There’s no doubt that Salah is one of the best attackers currently playing in world football. And with the winger showing no signs of slowing down, Liverpool will have to do everything in their powers to ensure the forward remains at Anfield for the upcoming years.

But with no contract news as of late, it appears that Salah is weighing up his options for his future.
