Vinicius Junior has nailed his colours to the Real Madrid mast despite being linked with a move to Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, speaking to TNT Sports.

The La Liga champions have currently got some of the most exciting young talent in world football under contract.

Unfortunately for Vinicius, Fede Valverde, Martin Odegaard and Rodrygo Goes, however, Zinedine Zindane seems to prefer experience over exuberance.

Odegaard has already been forced to leave on loan after falling out of favour in the Spanish capital, with speculation suggesting Vinicius could follow in the Norwegian’s footsteps.

Diario Madridista reports Arsenal have their sights firmly fixed on another fresh-faced Real Madrid forward.

Vinicius, the turbo-charged winger who arguably produced his finest performances during the short-lived Santi Solari era, also has admirers at Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the 20-year-old Brazilian isn’t ready to give up on his Bernabau dreams yet. Far from it.

“No (I’m not leaving). I’m always focused on wanting to be at Real Madrid, being with the best players, learning alongside the best players,” says Vinicius.

“I’m 20 years old and it seems as though I’ve been playing for many years – but I’m only at the beginning of my career.

“I’m learning a lot from the players that are here, those that play in my position. I want to stay at Real Madrid forever.”

Vinicius won’t turn 21 until July and the fact we are even discussing the future of a youngster blessed with such prodigious talent feels more than a tad bizarre.

Especially when you consider Los Blancos paid £39 million to sign the winger when he was just 16.

Then again, Real Madrid waits for no one.

Achraf Hakimi, Dani Ceballos, Sergio Reguilon, Theo Hernandez, Marcos Llorente and more will tell you that – for free.
