Arsenal central defender Ben White has told the club’s official website that he wants to face Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
White, who joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window, has said that he is looking forward to playing against Ronaldo in the Premier League this season.
The Portugal international forward returned to the Red Devils in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal will take on United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on December 2.
What Ben White has said about Cristiano Ronaldo
White told Arsenal’s official website when asked which away game he is most looking forward to: “I think probably the United game. I want to play against Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve played at Old Trafford before, but not when it was full.
“It would be a great experience. In fact I’ve been there to watch a game, when they played Chelsea a few years ago, because my uncle is a United fan so he took me along. But playing there in front of a big crowd is what I really want to do.”

Ben White admiration
White was playing in the lower leagues in England not so long ago.
And now the 24-year-old is turning out for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
And he is playing for England.
And White also wants to test himself against Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers of all time.

We simply have to admire the 24-year-old.
Many defenders would want to avoid playing against Ronaldo.
But not White.
In our view, it speaks volume about White as a player that he wants to test himself against the United star.
It shows that the 24-year-old wants to improve and develop as a defender.
