Tim Sherwood has stated that he would buy a season ticket at Leeds over Tottenham Hotspur because the latter are ‘exciting to watch’, as he told Premier League Productions (12/09/21 at 4:05 pm).
In a pretty brutal fashion, Sherwood also claimed that the season tickets are ‘too expensive’ at Tottenham compared to Leeds.
There is no doubt that there are contrasting styles to both Leeds and Spurs, both last season and during this current campaign.
Even though Spurs have changed coaches, Nuno Espirito Santo isn’t known for his attacking style compared to someone like Marcelo Bielsa, whose teams are all-action and always like to play with the foot on the accelerator.
Therefore, it isn’t a surprise that Sherwood, who managed the North London club, would prefer to pay his money to watch the Yorkshire side in action.
“It’s exciting to watch,” said Sherwood. “If I had to buy a season ticket at any club then I want to go there and watch Leeds every single week.
“No, it’s too expensive at Tottenham.”

Leeds were the entertainers of last season, and even though they are yet to win a Premier League game this season, their four matches have resulted in 15 goals being scored at both ends.
On the other hand, Tottenham have scored three and conceded the same amount.
Of course, you would prefer to be in Tottenham’s camp because they have the strong defence and the points on the board, so far.
Although, if it getting your money’s worth then Elland Road would probably be the destination rather than Hotspur Way.
Whether it’s the opposition or Leeds themselves, goals are a near-guarantee and a style that does get the supporters off their seats.
