Arsenal fans simply cannot understand why Stan Kroenke seems to against selling the club if he isn’t prepared to invest big money.
The Daily Mirror say that Kroenke is going to reject Daniel Ek’s second offer for Arsenal, which is incoming soon.
Ek is apparently set to bid around £2 billion in an attempt to takeover Arsenal.
However, even that offer is not going to be enough to sway Kroenke and convince him to sell up.
That news has disappointed Arsenal fans, who have also been left bewildered.
There is confusion why Kroenke seems so against selling the club, if he isn’t prepared to invest the large sums of money in the transfer market to make them a force again.
Disappointing news?
The signs are that Kroenke will not pay huge fees for players again this summer.
Indeed Mikel Arteta and Edu are effectively having to balance the books to make room for new additions.
Arsenal want to freshen up their squad, but rather than being handed funds to do so – the money looks set to be raised from player sales.
A number of Arsenal squad members have been linked with exits already, with the Gunners seemingly having plans to bring in new blood across a range of positions.
