Patrick Kisnorbo has spoken on the Leeds United podcast of his desperation to get back to Elland Road and watch a game.
Back to Elland Road
Kisnorbo played for Leeds between 2009 and 2013, helping them to promotion from League One back into the Championship.
The Australian central defender has since moved back to his homeland.
But Kisnorbo says that he would be delighted to make the long trip back to England to watch a Leeds game at some point in the near future.
He said: “I want to come back in the ground. I want to come to Elland Road and watch a game!
“We loved Leeds the most. We took a family holiday a couple of years ago and went to France and then went down to Leeds, for Snodgrass’ wedding.
“We had a phenomenal time. I really miss that place, I really do. It’s a special bond and special fans.”

Big changes at Leeds
Kisnorbo actually only ever made 57 appearances for Leeds, but he still remains very well thought of by the Elland Road crowd.
If the 40-year-old was to return to Leeds now he would likely notice a big change from when he was at the club.
Kisnorbo represented Leeds at the start of their rise back up the divisions, but at a time when the club was still facing great difficulties.
Leeds are now under new ownership and with Marcelo Bielsa in charge they have made great strides.
The Whites are beginning to establish themselves as a top level club again.
And with players like Raphinha, Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips all in their squad, they now have some hugely talented individuals back in their team.
