Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the Gunners want to sign Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Neves from Premier League rivals Wolves in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the 24-year-old Portugal international midfielder is open to a move to the Gunners.

Some Arsenal fans have given their take on speculation regarding Neves, who cost Wolves £15.8 million in transfer fees in the summer of 2017, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter:

As you can see from the above tweets, (some) Arsenal fans seem to be in favour of a move for Neves, although a couple or so do appear to be against it.

Neves is a very good player who has done well for Wolves over the past four years.

Of course, the Portuguese has room to improve, but he was not linked with Manchester City in 2019 for nothing.

The holding midfielder could form a strong partnership with Thomas Partey in the middle of the park for Arsenal.

The Athletic claimed last month that Wolves want £35 million for Neves.

For that price, the Portuguese could prove to be a bargain for the Gunners.
