Kostas Tsimikas has been speaking to the media ahead of the Champions League clash between Liverpool and AC Milan tonight.
Among other topics, the £11.75m man commented on what Jürgen Klopp did to him after Divock Origi’s 93rd minute winner against Wolves.
What’s the story?
Well, after Origi stole the three points at Molineux, Klopp went wild, opting to grab Tsimikas and get the Greek left-back in a headlock.
Speaking about that moment, Tsimikas is quoted by Football Daily as saying: “In this moment, you can’t control your emotions. I really don’t remember when he caught my neck! I’m fine, I think I can play tomorrow!”
Clearly, the 25-year-old saw the funny side of Klopp jumping on him in celebration.

The Greece international’s own celebration had the Liverpool fans talking, as he goes absolutely crazy on the sidelines following Origi’s goal.
Kostas Tsimikas has made Andy Robertson better at Liverpool
Competition for places often helps improve the level of performance around a club, and the same goes for Liverpool’s left-back department.
Tsimikas has really blossomed this season, which led to some Liverpool fans calling for him to take Andy Robertson’s place at one point.
However, Klopp recently threw the Scotland international back into his starting XI, and was rewarded as Robertson assisted two goals against Everton.

The 27-year-old also provided an assist against Southampton.
After a difficult period, Robertson is now thriving once again at Anfield.
Now, if Michael Edwards can find a right-back equivalent of Tsimikas for Klopp, Liverpool’s backline would look extremely well stocked.
