Jeff Stelling told former striker Kris Boyd that Sky will send him to watch Tottenham against Leeds after his strong comments about the two teams.
The former Scotland international told Sky Sports News (21/08/21 at 1:25 pm) that Leeds are ‘underachieving’ and Tottenham have a ‘bad attitude’.
Boyd’s claims stem from what he thinks is the media overhyping Leeds, and as a result of that, he thinks they should be doing better given what is being said about them.
And Spurs losing their first-leg Europa League Conference game last Thursday in Portugal despite days earlier beating the Premier League champions and thinks that displays a ‘bad attitude’ from the players.
But Sky presenter Stelling wasn’t having any of it and shared that he will send him to watch the two in action where the ‘fans will love you’.
“Sorry, Kris, what attitude is this,” asked Stelling. “They had a fantastic attitude.”
“I tell you what Boyd, I think we are going to send you to a game. We are going to send you live to see ‘underachieving’ Leeds’ play ‘bad attitude’ Spurs. The fans would love you.”

Rather than underachieving, a club like Leeds are punching above their weight and that’s proven by how far Marcelo Bielsa has taken the club.
When he first took over Leeds, they were a mid-table Championship side with a host of players struggling to make the cut.
He didn’t get rid of 80% of the squad, but he coached them into being mid-table Championship players to a top-half Premier League team.
From Stuart Dallas to Luke Ayling, it has been some rise for those players.
As for Spurs, two wins in two Premier League games says it all. Yes, that defeat in Portugal was embarrassing, but they can put it right on Thursday.
