Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching footage of Arnaut Danjuma in action for the Netherlands last night.
What’s the story?
Well, according to Voetbal, Liverpool are interested in signing the £21.3m man, who only joined Villarreal back in August.
It comes after Marca revealed Jürgen Klopp was interested before Danjuma decided to move to Spain.
Clearly, the Reds haven’t given up the chase, despite allowing the 24-year-old to join Villarreal from Bournemouth.
Danjuma scored in a 6-0 win over Gibraltar on Monday, in which he also bamboozled those who tried to dispossess him.

Can Liverpool sign Arnaut Danjuma in the future?
Danjuma penned a five-year contract with Villarreal, which doesn’t bode well for Liverpool’s hopes of signing him anytime soon.
However, Villarreal are not Liverpool – the Reds are among the most attractive clubs in the world, and have a unique pull factor.
Also, as long as Klopp remains at Anfield, players will always be tempted to work with the charismatic German.
The only danger is, by the looks of things, Danjuma is going to become an even bigger star in La Liga, therefore ramping up his price tag.
Nevertheless, if you want the best players, you have to spend the big bucks.
