Moussa Sissoko has revealed the four pieces of advice he gave to Tanguy Ndombele while his fellow Frenchman was struggling at Tottenham.
The north Londoners spent a club-record £53.8 million on the France international in July 2019.
However, after Mauricio Pochettino – the man who signed him – left, Ndombele had some difficult times under Jose Mourinho.
The former Real Madrid boss was brutal towards the midfielder at times last term.
After substituting him at half-time against Burnley, Mourinho said he was ‘expecting more’ and also sounded like he’d run out of patience in quotes provided by the Independent.
However, Ndombele has been much improved this season, following four pieces of advice from Sissoko.

The box-to-box midfielder, who cost £30 million, is quoted by Football London as saying: ‘I said to him to stay calm, stay patient, and just to work hard in training and try to understand everyone here.’
Whether Ndombele’s improvement is down to Sissoko’s advice or not is hard to tell, although there’s no denying that improvements have been made.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has scored two Premier League goals, while also recording one assist.

Ndombele has been trusted more by Mourinho, making 12 Premier League starts.
Significantly, that is the same amount of league starts he made in the entirety of last season.
Ndombele is just one assist away from equalling his league goal involvements from last term as well.
His improvement under Mourinho has been significant, and long may it continue.
