Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Conor Coady has given his take on speculation that Tottenham Hotspur are about to appoint Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach.
The Times have reported that Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of bringing Ange Postecoglou from Celtic.
The Australian manager has agreed a two-year contract with Spurs with the option of a third season.
Spurs have also agreed compensation with Celtic over Postecoglou.
Coady, who spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Everton from Wolves, believes that Postecoglou would be a good managerial appointment for Tottenham.

Coady said about Postecoglou on BBC Radio 5 Live (7:11pm, June 5, 2023): “He has done an incredible job.
“Players are buying into him, what he is like with players, the relationship he has with the players, the high-intensity football. I think Tottenham can play like that, I really really do.”

Succeeding at Spurs
In our view, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou could prove to be a good managerial appointment for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 57-year-old has done extremely well for Celtic, who have just won the domestic treble.
Now, of course, no one would expect Postecoglou to win the Premier League title with Spurs, but the Australian has shown at Celtic that he can work within a budget and can play attacking football.
If Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy backs Postecoglou and allows him to build a team in his own image, then he could be a big success at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
