Albert Sambi Lokonga has admitted to Lameuse that he already considers Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe two of Arsenal’s stand out players.
Lokonga only moved to Arsenal in the summer, and he is now part of a vibrant, young Gunners side who have impressed over recent weeks.
Lokonga moved to the Emirates from Anderlecht, who also had a promising group of young players at the club.
What’s been said?
And when asked if he saw similarities between the two sides, the midfielder said: “It’s true.
“We have quite a few players in the squad who come from Arsenal academy.
“I really like Smith Rowe and Saka who stand out a bit. And then there is a young coach who is trying to implement his playing philosophy.”
Standing out
Smith Rowe and Saka have continued to catch the eye at Arsenal this term.

The two young talents have become key players under Mikel Arteta, and are now firm fixtures in the North London side’s starting line-up.
Smith Rowe seems to be adding goals to his game, with four strikes to his name already this season.
Saka, meanwhile, made his 100th appearance for Arsenal just last weekend – despite still only being 20-years-old.
Smith Rowe, Saka and Lokonga may well all feature for Arteta’s side this weekend, when they take on Watford looking to continue their strong form.
