Speaking on the Pro Direct Soccer YouTube channel, Alex Iwobi has been discussing Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Nigerian was playing a game of ‘would you rather?’ and he was asked which full-back he’d rather attack against; Kyle Walker or Alexander-Arnold?

Due to his incredible pace and defensive work, Iwobi didn’t fancy coming up against Walker, picking Alexander-Arnold as the player he’d most like to attack against out of the two.

However, despite saying he’d like to play against the England international, Iwobi stated that he actually really rates Alexander-Arnold as a player, especially in the offensive areas.

Iwobi a fan of Alexander-Arnold

The Everton star spoke about the Liverpool ace.

“Would you rather attack against Kyle Walker or Trent Alexander-Arnold?” Iwobi was asked.

“As in I’m attacking them? They’re both good in their respective areas, but Alexander-Arnold still, but I rate him, I rate him offensively,” Iwobi replied.

Impossible not to appreciate Alexander-Arnold

As an Everton player, it will have pained Iwobi to admit just how much he likes Alexander-Arnold as a player, but for some footballers, their talent is just undeniable.

Indeed, as a three-time PFA Team of the Year player, Alexander-Arnold is undoubtedly one of the best footballers in the country, and while Everton fans and players would never want to praise Liverpool-supporting Reds star, sometimes you have to just hold your hands up and give credit where it’s due.

As for whether or not it’d be easier to attack against him or Walker. We can understand why Iwobi has chosen Alexander-Arnold, but in terms of all-around play, there’s a real case to make for Alexander-Arnold being the better player of the two.

The Liverpool ace is a superstar, and his talent is even forcing Everton players into praising him these days.
