Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing what Jürgen Klopp did in front of Rafa Benitez in the 10th minute of the 4-1 win.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool took an early lead against Everton on Wednesday, thanks to Jordan Henderson’s goal in the 10th minute.
In typical fashion, Klopp turned towards his bench and was ready to start his usual fist pumping, but supporters noticed him stopping himself.
Just before letting off a fist pump, Klopp looks up and sees Benitez, before deciding to abandon the fist pump in favour of a more reserved celebration.
It certainly seems as if Benitez’s presence made the German think twice about celebrating as wildly as he usually does.
Clearly, Klopp has great respect for the Spaniard, and they seem to get along very well.
Over the years, the pair have often been seen embracing on the touchline before games, while also sharing a laugh among themselves.
Jürgen Klopp showed empathy in Liverpool vs Everton

Klopp is a winner, but first and foremost, he seems to be a genuine person.
When he looked up and saw Benitez, who is now without a win in eight games for Everton, he surely felt a bit sorry for the unpopular Spaniard.
Despite the game being a fierce rivalry, in which Klopp would’ve been more than entitled to celebrated wildly, he didn’t, seemingly out of respect for his peer.

If the footage is as it seems, then it was a lovely moment from Klopp.
For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the 10th minute moment…
