Liverpool are hammering Manchester United at Old Trafford at the moment, and Mohamed Salah is having a good game.

No surprise there.

Salah is one of the best players in the world and has been in superb form this season.

Mo Salah on fire

So, we are not at all surprised that the Egypt international forward has scored in the first half.

Not once, but twice.

Liverpool are 4-0 up at the break at Old Trafford.

Salah’s first goal came in the 38th minute.

It was a wonderful goal as well.

Naby Keita and Salah exchanged passes and switched places.

The ball was then moved back to the right for Keita to cross hard and low.

Salah was there to finish and make it 3-0 to Liverpool.

Dion Dublin’s take

Former Manchester United player Dion Dublin is following the match for BBC Radio 5 Live, and he has made quite an interesting observation about Salah’s first goal.

Dublin said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “That is an incredible passage of football. There were one-twos, little flicks.

“The thing that I noticed there is that Mo Salah was being marked by Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw but when the ball goes out wide he moves and beats both of them to the ball. He deserves to score.”

Salah is a very intelligent footballer, and he showed that during his first goal against United today.

The 29-year-old is a goal machine.

We will not be surprised if the forward scores another goal in the second half and completes his hat-trick.
