Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Leeds United’s Tyler Adams has been discussing some of his stats on the new FIFA game.

Adams was given a rating of 76 on the game this year, but the player himself wasn’t best pleased with his passing score.

Adams received a rating of just 69 for his passing, but he believes that he should have received a rating of at least 75.

In fact, Adams was so frustrated by his passing rating that he vowed to start doing extra work on that element of his game after training in an attempt to boost his in-game score.

Adams isn’t the best passer on FIFA

The American reacted to his passing rating on FIFA.

“As a defensive midfielder you’re on the ball a lot, so I’m going with 75 there. Clearly I need to (work on it), but I’m always doing extra work whether it’s passing or turning or something like that. According to FIFA I need to work on it a lot, so I will be doing it after training now,” Adams said.

Perfect motivation

EA Sports may have been a bit harsh with Adams’ passing rating, but footballers sometimes need this added element of motivation to go out and get even better.

As Adams’ fellow countryman, Michael Jordan, showed in The Last Dance documentary, sports stars can take the smallest amount of criticism and allow it to spur them on and become even better, and it sounds as though that’s the effect Adams’ FIFA rating is going to have here.

Adams isn’t a bad passer by any means, but extra training on that aspect of his game certainly won’t do him any harm.
