
Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Atletico Madrid will make a €50m (£42.5m) offer for Dusan Vlahovic.
Di Marzio reports that a bid is being prepared, while CalcioMercato journalist Matteo Moretto has also made a similar claim.
For the longest time Vlahovic had been linked to Spurs, and Tottenham may be in the market for a striker in the near future if Harry Kane does make his much-anticipated move to Manchester City.
Spurs had been eyeing Vlahovic this summer, but the reality is that they’ll struggle to compete with Atletico Madrid.
Sadly, Atletico Madrid can offer a much better footballing project than Spurs at the moment, they’re the La Liga champions and are managed by one of the greatest coaches on the planet.
Of course, Spurs may be able match the Spanish outfit in terms of financial muscle, but they simply can’t compete in terms of offering Champions League football.
