Arsenal fans haven’t had a lot to celebrate recently.
The Gunners fluffed their chances of qualifying for the Champions League with a poor run of form at the end of the campaign.
Even worse, their form handed an invitation for Tottenham Hotspur – their North London rivals – to finish fourth ahead of them in what is definitely insult to injury.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, Arsenal aren’t all that active in the transfer market yet.
They have signed 19-year-old Brazilian winger Marquinhos, but they’ve been left frustrated in their attempts to sign Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City, while Youri Tielemans is also linked with a transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
All in all, it’s been a difficult and underwhelming last month or so for Arsenal supporters.
But at least their reported new away kit is nice.
Toward the end of May, The Sun ran a story about a new black jersey that Arsenal were preparing to unveil for the 2022-23 campaign.
And former Arsenal hitman Kevin Campbell seems to be a fan of the design.

It’s certainly a lovely shirt but how Arsenal players would’ve loved to wear it in the Champions League, not the Europa League.
Losing to Spurs and Newcastle in their final three Premier League games put paid to their chances of pipping Antonio Conte’s side to fourth place.
It really was a devastating end to what had been an excellent season for the most part and with their local rivals signing two players already this summer – and potentially a third this week if and when Yves Bissouma is announced – it makes you wonder if Arsenal would have an easier time of it on the transfer front had they qualified for the Champions League, not the Lilywhites.
