The Spurs youngster played the full match at left-wing back, as his side picked up an impressive victory.
And Tottenham fans were quick to encourage Sessegnon, as he was celebrating three points on social media soon after their defeat.
Sessegnon was loaned out by Spurs in the hope of getting him regular game time, and the move has been a real success so far.
Sessegnon has been backed to start regularly by Hoffenheim and he has shown his ability to play at the top level.
Tottenham still have high hopes for Sessegnon, but his development is definitely being better served by heading elsewhere.
Mourinho seems to prefer Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies to the English youngster currently, which means that his game time would have been limited if he had stuck around in North London.
