Between Liverpool and Manchester United, who is Enzo Fernandez joining?
The Argentina international lit up the World Cup in Qatar, helping his nation to a victory in the final over France last weekend.
As a result, there’s a lot of speculation about his future.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Liverpool had agreed a deal to sign the South American, but UOL, as covered by HITC Sport, have now claimed that Manchester United have hijacked their rivals’ move for him.
It’s been reported that the Anfield outfit will have to match the £106 million release clause that the Red Devils are shelling out.

And despite admitting that he loves the player, former Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique cannot see his old club reaching those figures for Fernandez.
Who is Enzo Fernandez joining?
Honestly, Enzo Fernandez to Manchester United is now looking like a distinct possibility.
With Liverpool’s owners – Fenway Sports Group – trying to sell the club, are they going to commit to a staggering nine-figure investment in the middle of this?
In all probability, no.
He is clearly a classy player and one who’ll get much better.
But Liverpool have, in the last six months, already broke their club record on £85 million Darwin Nunez.
And although they were prepared to do it again for Fernandez it seems, United’s willingness to splash £106 million makes it unlikely they’ll fight fire with fire.
