Jamie Carragher has told his own Instagram Live that he absolutely loves Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti was brought in at Everton in December, in a move which outlined the Toffees’ ambition.
The Italian boss was a very high profile appointment for Everton to make, given his glistening CV.
And Carragher says that he is pleased to have Ancelotti in the Premier League again.
“Love him, I think he’s brilliant for Everton and getting him in the Premier League,” Carragher said, when asked for his thoughts on Ancelotti.
“I think he comes across really well, he’s a top man.”
Ancelotti has already made a bright start at Everton, with the Toffees playing a very attacking system.
Ancelotti has lined his side up in a 4-4-2 formation, and they have picked up some positive results so far.
Everton have played fairly stylishly and there are now high hopes for next term, when Ancelotti should be able to put his own stamp on the team.
The Toffees boss is expected to be handed funds to spend in the transfer market, with Everton already linked with some eye-catching targets.
