John Terry has said on beIN SPORTS that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool pose more threat to Chelsea than Manchester City.
The Chelsea legend has been hugely impressed by Liverpool and is in awe of their attacking force.
The former England international central defender is also in awe of Virgil van Dijk.
Terry has said that he is not sure how many players can get past the Liverpool and Netherlands international centre-back.
The Englishman said on beIN SPORTS: “Out of the two, I have to say Liverpool look a threat. I just think they have got so many goals going forward.
“Defensively I look at Van Dijk and think, I am not sure who gets past him. We all have an off day, which he will, but at the same time they look very solid.”
Liverpool are a big threat
Liverpool have not been great defensively this season.
The Reds have conceded 11 goals in the Premier League already this campaign.
However, the Merseyside outfit have scored as many as 35 goals in the league this season.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are not playing with a world-class striker upfront, but they are still scoring goals.
City and Chelsea have arguably the strongest squads in the Premier League at the moment.
However, the way Liverpool have destroyed Manchester United and Arsenal among teams this season underlines their quality.
It is really a hard call now regarding who will win the Premier League title this season.
What we can say is that the title race will go down to the wire.
