Tottenham striker Harry Kane has named his and Heung-Min Son’s goal combinations against Arsenal as his favourite, as he told Soccer AM.

The Tottenham duo hold the Premier League record (37) for most goal combinations since 1992 – and Kane shared that he ‘liked both goals against Arsenal’ if picking some of his favourites.

Kane was making reference to last season when Spurs beat Arsenal 2-0 and the duo assisted one another for the goals.

At the time, given the COVID restrictions, only a few thousand supporters were allowed into stadiums, but they did witness the most lethal duo in recent times on the road to history.

Nonetheless, when Kane was asked to name his favourite combinations of them all, it was obvious that he had to pick goals from the north London derby.

“I liked both goals against Arsenal,” said Kane. “When we won 2-0. I think the games are important.

“I think the bigger the game and it makes it a bit more special. Sonny’s goal, that first goal. I just played him on the halfway line and he did the rest.

“Even the second goal, the counter-attack was nice.”

There is still one more north London derby to be rescheduled for the season and both Kane and Son will be hoping to showcase their goalscoring touch once more.

What’s even more interesting is that, both Arsenal and Spurs are fighting for those Champions League places, so that game will have added heat to it.

Under Antonio Conte, Spurs have shown that those teams that are on the front foot and aggressive towards them, then they can pick off and showcase their magic.

But given that the final NLD of the season is due to be played at Tottenham, you can’t see the home fans allowing their team to sit back, so that might just work against their record-breaking duo.
