Martin Keown has noted on BT Sport 1 (2:35pm, March 19, 2022) what Arsenal goalkeepers Aaron Ramsdale and Bernd Leno did at full time after the match against Aston Villa.
The Arsenal legend saw Leno and Ramsdale embrace each other after the Gunners beat Villa 1-0 away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Germany international goalkeeper Leno played due to injury to Ramsdale, who is the number one player between the posts for the Gunners.
Aaron Ramsdale – Bernd Leno bond at Arsenal
Keown said: “We just saw a clip there with two goalkeepers. He (Leno) doesn’t play, doesn’t get a chance, but he just concentrates, right at the end, makes a really good save.
“I liked to see that bond, of course, he wants to play, Leno, but he doesn’t get a chance, the way that Ramsdale goes and shares with him.”

Encouraging
In our view, the warm embrace between Ramslade and Leno underlines the spirit that Arsenal have in their squad.
Now, Leno will surely not be happy at his situation at Arsenal.
The German is not playing regularly at the moment, with manager Arteta clearly favouring Ramsdale.
Ramsdale embracing Leno shows the bond the two goalkeepers have and how much they want the team to succeed.
We fully expect Ramsdale to get back into the Arsenal starting lineup once he is fully fit.
It will be interesting to see if Leno stays at Arsenal next season.
Would the German be happy playing second fiddle at Arsenal for another season?
