Jens Lehmann told Sky Sports News on Tuesday afternoon that he likes Gary Neville’s pretty forthright views about Arsenal.
The TV pundit suggested to Sky Sports that there was a potential ‘disconnect’ between the Arsenal players and the manager, Mikel Arteta.
Over the weekend, Arsenal were whacked 3-0 by a Liverpool side that had lost to Fulham before the international break.
Nonetheless, after Lehmann was told about Neville’s comments, he shared that he agrees with him.
“I didn’t like Gary Neville as an opponent on the pitch,” said Lehmann. “But I like his comments, sometimes.
“This season I don’t exactly get it as to what they are doing. A bit disappointing. A lot of young talent.
“But for a lot of Arsenal fans, this is not an excuse because a team like Arsenal always needs to compete for the top four.
“Where they are right now. Gary’s probably right, something is missing there.”

Either the results start to pick up for Arteta or he will only end up going one way and that’s towards the exit door.
And if that were to happen then it would mean another season, since Arsene Wenger left, where they will be declining once more.
