Tim Sherwood praised Arsenal talent Martin Odegaard and claimed that he has ‘really come to life’, as he told Optus Sport on Premier League Productions.
On Sunday, Odegaard perhaps produced his best performance in an Arsenal shirt when he helped the Gunners come from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at the London Stadium.
The Real Madrid loanee is now starting to showcase to the Arsenal fans why there was such a fuss about his talents as a teenager.
And the rising 22-year-old star has a fan in ex-Premier League winner Sherwood, who likes what he’s seeing from the youngster.
“I think this kid Odegaard has really come to life,” said Sherwood.
“I like him. I think he’s very dominant on his left side. There is still time for him to develop and come onto his right side.
“The young boys (at Arsenal). I think they have some exciting players. But it’s all about the consistency.”

When Odegaard was snapped up on a temporary basis by Arsenal many questioned whether or not it was going to stagnate Emile Smith Rowe’s rise into the first-team.
But that’s not been the case because Mikel Arteta has played Bukayo Saka, Odegaard and Smith Rowe all together, at times.
And in truth, they have probably looked at their best when all three are on the pitch.
