Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (2:07pm, October 16, 2021) that Leeds United winger Daniel James is a terrific talent.
The former Crystal Palace forward believes that James is a great signing for Leeds.
Leeds signed the 23-year-old Wales international winger from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The West Yorkshire club paid £25 million to bring James to Elland Road.
Morrison said about James on Sky Sports News (2:07pm, October 16, 2021): “I thought it was a great signing when Leeds went and got him. I like him. I think he is a terrific talent.”
Daniel James needs to do more
Leeds are not doing well at the moment, and there are suggestions that they could get relegated.
In our view, that is too early to say that, especially when you consider what this group of players achieved did last season.
What is clear, though, is that a number of Leeds players, including James, have to step up.
The Welshman has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League sp far this season.
James has not scored or given an assist.
The former Swansea City star has created only one big chance.
The winger’s cross accuracy is only 6%.
Now, that, in our opinion, is not good enough.
We know how good James can be.
After all, Manchester United signed the winger from Swansea.
Hopefully for Leeds fans, James will start producing the goods soon.
