Jose Enrique says he ‘really likes’ Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes amid transfer rumours that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool want to sign the player.
The former Reds left-back posted on Instagram that he can’t see a possible January transfer happening, but there is a chance during the summer window.
It has to be mentioned that if any deal happens, it will only be made official in the summer because Nunes can’t play for three clubs in one season.

The 23-year-old only recently joined Wolves from Sporting Lisbon back in the summer for £42 million (Sky Sports).
So, if the Midlands outfit were to part ways with the Portugal international, then surely they will want their money back, added with tax.
Either way, upon hearing the rumours about Nunes, Liverpool-mad pundit Enrique issued the following response.
“I really like him a lot,” said Enrique. “He is a great player, but I think this deal is very unlikely, at least now in January. In the summer, you never know. But now I don’t think so.”

NUNES’ SIGNING WON’T GO DOWN WELL
There will be Liverpool fans screaming at the screens hoping this deal doesn’t happen because it could stop other transfers from taking place.
Jude Bellingham has always been and will always be the signing the Merseyside giants want, but will the club splash big cash on Nunes as well as Bellingham?
Surely they can use that money on Bellingham, instead, even if he means paying an inflated transfer fee for the England international.
Plus, it’s not like Nunes has set the world alight during his early periods in the Premier League with Wolves.
