Jose Enrique has stated on his Instagram story that he likes Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher ‘a lot’ and that he would welcome him at Liverpool.
The former left-back added that Conor Gallagher is a ‘Jurgen Klopp style of player’ after he reacted to suggestions that the German boss wants to sign the England International – he is high up Liverpool’s list, as reported by the Independent in April 2023.
Last season, Gallagher was on a season-long loan deal at Crystal Palace, where he impressed for the London club and earned his maiden call-up to Gareth Southgate’s side.

But since the 23-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge, he hasn’t been a regular for a team that is sat 11th in the Premier League table and recently sacked Graham Potter.
Chelsea have spent half a billion on players during the last two transfer windows, including a British record fee for Enzo Fernandez.
As a result, it could result in Gallagher heading for the exit door in the summer because of the stack of players ahead of him, as Enrique would seemingly welcome his transfer.
“I like Gallagher a lot,” said Enrique. “To be honest, I don’t know about the other player (links to Jesper Lindstrom), but Gallagher is a Klopp style of a midfielder.”

GALLAGHER WOULD DO WONDERS AT ANFIELD
When talking about England internationals, and especially midfield players, then the obvious name of Jude Bellingham is one all Liverpool fans want.
Steven Gerrard is trying his best to try and persuade the player to Anfield, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t look elsewhere, regardless of if Bellingham signs or not.
Gallagher is a player, if he swapped the Bridge for Anfield, would cook on Merseyside because his aggression without the ball is exactly what Liverpool’s stagnating midfield is missing.
