Graham Roberts has suggested on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur should bring Christian Eriksen back from Inter Milan.

Eriksen joined Italian giants Inter from Premier League club Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has failed to make a huge impact at the Nerazzurri under head coach Antonio Conte.

According to WhoScored, the Denmark international made eight starts and nine substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.

The former Spurs star also made two starts and four substitute appearances in the Europa League for the Italian powerhouse, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

According to The Daily Mail, Inter are ready to sell Eriksen this summer, and former Tottenham star Roberts believes that the club should bring him back.

Back to Tottenham Hotspur?

Eriksen was one of the best players at Tottenham during his time at the North London club, and the Dane is in his prime at the moment.

The 28-year-old will go straight into Jose Mourinho’s starting lineup if he is to come back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

One suspects that the Tottenham players and the fans will be happy if Eriksen returns and shows his old form.
