Arsenal fans have urged Bernd Leno to keep his head up as takes part in training for Germany.

The 29-year-old has lost his number one spot at Arsenal and is clearly back-up to Manuel Neuer for his country.

There will, of course, be worry from Leno that, if his lack of minutes continue, then he will also lose his place in the national side.

That’s where these coming months, and the January transfer window, will be crucial for Leno.

He has one-year left on his deal at the Emirates Stadium and it seems as though he won’t be signing on the dotted line any longer.

Arsenal fans sent positive vibes to their player and made it clear that they back him in anything he does.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Leno departs during the January transfer window because it’s not like Arsenal are going to command a huge fee for him given his current contract status.

Until then, it’s the new boy on the block, Aaron Ramsdale, who has also been called up by his national side, donning the number one gloves.

Mikel Arteta’s side are still in the League Cup – they face-off against Leeds United – so that’s Leno’s chance of earning minutes.
