Kingsley Coman has told the Daily Mail that Liverpool are very fortunate to have Thiago Alcantara in their side.
Liverpool bought Thiago from Bayern this summer, where he had previously linked up with Coman.
And the £25 million winger (Goal) claims that Liverpool’s newest midfielder is going to add a lot of quality to their side.
“I trained with Thiago every day for five years — I know his quality,” says Coman.
“Liverpool are lucky to have him. They are one of the best teams in Europe and I hope we will meet at some point this season. Let’s see if we can win it again.
‘Thiago didn’t score a lot of goals for Bayern, for example, but what he did was so important in the team.”
Unfortunately for Liverpool they are yet to really see the best of Thiago due to injury.

The Spaniard struggled for fitness soon after he initially arrived, and then a bad tackle from Richarlison in the Merseyside derby has left him needing treatment again.
Even in his absence Liverpool coped well last night though, as they beat Ajax 1-0 in the Champions League.
Bayern also seem to be performing excellently without their chief conductor from last campaign.
The German side got their European campaign off to a blistering opening yesterday, as they beat Atletico Madrid 4-0, with Coman on the scoresheet twice.
