Alasdair Gold has said that Tottenham Hotspur’s Ledley King is really impressing people at Spurs with his coaching talents, as per his comments to his own Youtube channel.
King was appointed as Tottenham’s defensive coach in the summer, with Jose Mourinho giving the Spurs legend an opportunity to work with the first-team.
King has been videoed shouting at Eric Dier on the touchline in recently, in a clip which pleased Tottenham fans.
Dier actually came out and praised King this week in Football London for the way that he works with the side’s defenders.
And Gold says King is really growing into his role at Tottenham now.
“You see King growing in confidence,” Gold said. “He’s very loud on the touchline now, before matches you see him going through drills with the defence and talking through scenarios.
“In the training pitches you see him organising drills and setting them up.

“He’s really coming along as a coach and I know they are really happy with him at Tottenham.”
King’s may be growing in confidence at Tottenham as his methods are clearly working.
Spurs have the best defensive record of any team in the Premier League and have recently collected clean sheets against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Spurs’s stable backline has provided a foundation for Mourinho’s side to build their success upon, with the Lilywhites currently sitting on top of the pile in the Premier League.
