Mark Lawrenson has shared that whenever he speaks to someone about Liverpool’s academy, he ‘keeps hearing’ about Conor Bradley, as he told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
The Anfield legend shared that he ‘always gets a mention’, with the 18-year-old recently featuring for the senior Reds side.
Bradley didn’t start Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Preston in the League Cup on Wednesday night, but he did come off the bench just before the hour mark and made an impact.
He moved to his natural right-back spot, whilst Neco Williams pushed forward, all of which worked because the latter assisted Liverpool’s opening goal of the game.
This is what Lawrenson had to say about young Bradley and how he is liked on Merseyside.
“They like him,” said Lawrenson. “I keep hearing his name every time I talk about the boys in the academy and the youngsters. He always gets a mention.”

Liverpool have faced Norwich and Preston in the League Cup this season, with Klopp using a number of his young guns during those games.
The games will get tougher in the next round – the Reds are yet to learn their opponent’s for the quarter-finals – but whoever they play, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Klopp sticks with the academy stars.
West Ham, Arsenal, Tottenham, Brentford, Chelsea and Leicester and are the Premier League sides that remain.
With League One outfit Sunderland also going strong, so, more than likely, it’s going to be an all-Premier League affair for the Merseyside club.
