Speaking on the All to Play for Podcast, Joleon Lescott and Shay Given have been arguing about Jude Bellingham’s future.
Bellingham has been one of the shining stars of the World Cup so far, and many believe that he’s in line for a blockbuster transfer this summer.
Both Given and Lescott agree that the midfielder will be on the move in the summer, but they disagree on where he will go.
Lescott believes that Chelsea will make Borussia Dortmund an offer that they can’t refuse, while Given says that everyone is telling him that a move to Liverpool is all-but done, with the caveat that a Real Madrid move would be appealing.
Bellingham’s next step
Lescott and Given debated where Bellingham will end up.
“The question is where does he go? Wherever he wants to go, but I just feel that Chelsea are going to make it where they can’t say no to them,” Lescott said.
“Everyone says that Liverpool is a done deal, but then you look at Madrid with Modric and co, they’re ageing a bit. The reason I say Real Madrid is because he’s that good to be there,” Given replied.

Where Bellingham ends up remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, this will be the transfer story of the summer.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG are but a few of the clubs who have been credited with an interest in the England international, and when those clubs are involved, you’re talking about massive money.
