Speaking to the FPL Show, Wilfried Zaha has been waxing-lyrical about Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

The Crystal Palace star was playing a game where he had to name the best player in each position in the Premier League, and when it came to naming the best goalkeeper in the division, he knew exactly who he was picking.

What’s been said?

Zaha said he was choosing Ederson as his number one goalkeeper, stating that he’s completely mystified by the Brazilian’s ability to kick the ball.

“Ederson,” Zaha said.

“He can take two steps and boot it to the other side of the pitch, I just don’t know how he’s able to do that,” Zaha said.

How does he do it?

To be fair, we also can’t quite get our heads around how Ederson is able to hit the ball so far and so accurately.

The Brazilian has a rocket of a left-foot, routinely smashing the ball the length of the pitch, often with pin-point precision.

The goalkeeper is more than just a shot-stopper, he’s often the man who starts City’s attacks, even sparking the move the led to City’s first-goal against PSG in the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Much like Zaha, we’d love to know the secret behind Ederson’s incredible kicking ability.
