Alan Brazil has claimed that Daniel Levy was ’summoned to see’ Tottenham Hotspur owner Joe Lewis, as he told talkSPORT.
The talkSPORT presenter shared that he was told about this amid Tottenham’s current problems, as Antonio Conte’s side produce indifferent performances.
Whilst Levy is the chairman of the club and gets the main spotlight, it’s the hardly-seen Lewis who is the man right at the top of the north London club’s tree.
Tottenham fans don’t often, if ever, hear from the English businessman and they have made their feelings clear before that they no longer what him in charge.
Nonetheless, this is what former striker Brazil had to say about Spurs and what he’s been told.
“I just can’t work Spurs out,” said Brazil. “I did hear, I got a text last week, just chatting about general football and a friend of mine who is a Tottenham fan.
“He said that he heard that Daniel Levy, and I don’t know if this is 100%, was summoned to see Mr. Lewis. Joe Lewis. And that doesn’t often happen.
“I just don’t know what’s going on. I just don’t. You have to look at the players as well. Not just the manager.”

Perhaps out of all the summers, this is where the most pressure will be on Tottenham and those sitting in the boardroom.
They have a trophy-laden coach in their dugout in Conte, the last one, being Jose Mourinho, they fired a week before a cup final.
There is only so much rope Spurs can pull before they well and truly capitulate without being able to come back.
It just seems as though with Spurs, it’s either going to go very right in the summer or just horribly wrong.
But, at the end of the day, Conte needs to be backed, else many fans will fear that he will just walk.
