Speaking on the Tottenham Fan Chris Cowlin YouTube channel, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has been discussing Tanguy Ndombele and his future at Spurs.
The French midfielder is well and truly out of favour at Tottenham. He’s been poor for the London club for a long time now and his lack of workrate means that he simply won’t work under Antonio Conte.
Spurs are, understandably, trying to offload the Frenchman, but with the midfielder on massive wages, they’re struggling to find any suitors.
Bridge says that, aside from a whisper about a potential loan to Galatasaray, he’s not heard anything about Ndombele leaving Spurs, stating that the north London outfit could have a bit of a problem with their club-record signing.
What’s been said?
Bridge shared an update on Ndombele.
“Ndombele there has been absolutely nothing, I heard a whisper the other day about Galatasaray about another loan, but there has been nothing really, I think that could be the one player where Spurs could have a bit of a problem,” Bridge said.

Tough situation
Tottenham are in a real bind here with Ndombele.
The midfielder is on way too much money for any team to consider bringing him in, and there’s no place for him in Conte’s team.
A loan to a club like Galatasaray could work. After all, the Turkish giants have been known to spend big money on luxury midfielders before, but would Ndombele really want to go to Turkey?
At the age of just 25 his career is only just getting started, and a move to the Super Lig would be a huge step back for a player who was once looking so promising.
Ndombele could cause Tottenham big problems this summer.
