Patrick Bamford has joked that Leeds should attempt to bring Isco from Real Madrid to Elland Road when asked about transfers by Jermaine Beckford.
Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Beckford said: “Have we got any ideas about strengthening? Any positions? Pat needs help, he wants some food on his plate – he has only got the 12.”
Then, Bamford jokingly replied: “I heard Isco is unhappy at Madrid, to be honest.”
Club CEO Angus Kinnear was a guest on the podcast, and obviously heard the £7 million striker’s suggestion.
Just imagine if he went away and actually tried to help Victor Orta sign the Spain international after hearing what Bamford said!
Of course, he would be a wildly ambitious target to pursue, given his pedigree in the game.

Real Madrid paid £23 million for Isco.
Since his arrival, he has gone on to win four Champions League titles as well as two La Liga titles, among many more trophies.
Having said that, Leeds showed plenty of ambition to bring Rodrigo and Raphinha to Yorkshire, so their pulling power might be greater than most people think.

The Whites also have a world-renowned manager, who we presume most players would be interested in working under.
The No.10 role is also one you’d think Bielsa was looking at strengthening, given the pursuit of Udinese maestro Rodrigo De Paul over the summer.
However, it would still be a major shock to see Isco arrive in Yorkshire.
