Speaking on his podcast, Robbie Fowler has disputed the claim that Liverpool need to undergo a serious rebuild in the summer.
The Reds haven’t had their best season, that’s no secret as they currently sit outside of the top four, and while their decline this season has led to plenty of questions, Fowler doesn’t believe that much needs to change.
“I’m not worried no, obviously he’s (Klopp) got a bit of planning to do, I hear people talking about a rebuild, but that’s wide of the mark,” Fowler said.
“I think they probably need a few little adjustments, and he’s the man to do that, I think he’s proven in the past he can change teams, he’s changed Liverpool, the mentality, the ethos and everything is almost perfection.
“A few little twitches here or there and Liverpool are back to where they deserve to be.”

Fowler may be spot on with his summary here.
Yes, Liverpool haven’t been at their brilliant best this season, but so much of that can be attributed to key injuries at centre-half.
Let’s not forget that in the early knockings of the season Liverpool were sitting pretty at the top of the table and it’s only after further injuries and the congested festive period where they’ve begun to fall off.
Once Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are back there’s no reason to believe Liverpool won’t again hit the lofty heights they’ve grown accustomed to reaching under Jurgen Klopp.
